Plastic insert from Mavic® to reduce the hub-side valve hole in the rim from a diameter of 8.3 mm to a diameter of 6.2 mm.
An 8.3 mm valve bore is suitable for hoses with an auto valve (AV). When using a hose with a Sclaverand valve (SV), a bore diameter of 6.2 mm is required. This can be produced by the plastic reduction. The valve bore reducer can be mounted without tools and ensures an optimal fit of the Sclaverand valve. Disassembly is simple and damage-free.
