Plastic insert from Xentis® for reducing the hub-side valve hole in the rim from a diameter of 8.3 mm to a diameter of 6.2 mm.
An 8.3 mm valve bore is suitable for hoses with an auto valve (AV). When using a hose with a Sclaverand valve (SV), a bore diameter of 6.2 mm is required. This can be produced by the plastic reduction. The valve bore reducer can be mounted without tools and ensures an optimal fit of the Sclaverand valve.
The reduction is not slotted. This means that it sits firmly in the rim. Nevertheless, it can be removed without causing damage.
