Vollkugeliges Kugellager von Enduro Bearings® in der Größe 6001 (12 x 28 x 8 mm) zur Lagerung von Steering axles.

Enduro Bearings is one of the leading manufacturers of ball bearings. They produce extremely durable and excellently sealed bearings. Many leading brands in the bicycle industry rely on bearings from Enduro Bearings.

Enduro Bearings bearings are always designed with the deepest grooves possible to accommodate the largest possible balls. They feature double lip seals that run in a micro groove and form a complete labyrinth to ensure long life and excellent protection against the elements. The two super-thin sealing lips reliably keep out water and contaminants (outer sealing lip) and retain grease (inner sealing lip).

The bearings have races made from a high-carbon 52100 chrome alloy.

Es handelt sich um hochbelastbare Kugellager in vollkugeliger Bauart (MAX), die üblicherweise bei den hochbelasteten gefederten Hinterbauten von Mountainbikes eingesetzt werden. Hierbei wird zugunsten der Tragfähigkeit auf den Kugelkäfig verzichtet, was eine vollständige Füllung der Lagerringe mit 13 Kugeln ermöglicht. Zum Vergleich: Kugellager mit Käfig enthalten “nur” 8 Kugeln. Die Tragfähigkeit steigt somit um bis zu 40% gegenüber nicht-vollkugeligen Lagern der gleichen Größe. Zudem enthalten die MAX-Lager eine 90 prozentige Almagard® Hochdruckfettfüllung und werden durch eine Dichtlippe mit stärkerem Kontakt (LLU) gegen Verschmutzung geschützt. Das alles führt zu einem drastischen Plus im Sinne von Zuverlässigkeit und Langlebigkeit!

Due to the design of the MAX bearings for highly loaded bearing positions without permanent (rotating) rotation, they are not ideally suited for use in drive wheels.
