The Marathon Plus is the absolute reference for puncture-proof pneumatic tyres on wheelchairs.
The patented, 5 mm thick SmartGuard insert has a clear advantage in rolling resistance over all other products and is made of a proportion of recycled natural rubber. The Anti-Aging sidewall endures the typical overloads caused by low air pressure significantly longer before it develops ugly cracks.
Note: You can never completely exclude the possibility of a puncture. However, with the Marathon Plus bicycle tyre you are well protected against the typical puncture devils such as shards or granules.
It is essential to use a pressure gauge to set the air pressure on all Marathon Plus. Due to the special construction, checking the pressure with the thumb is not sufficient.
