Ball bearings can only reach and maintain their full potential with regular and appropriate care and maintenance.

How often you should maintain the ball bearings of your wheels depends on a number of factors - including the area of use of your wheelchair (e.g. sport or everyday use), the climatic conditions and the way you clean your wheels. We recommend that you carry out maintenance or have it carried out at least once a year in order to maintain optimum bearing performance. If your wheels are exposed to extreme conditions or loads, it may be advantageous to carry out maintenance more frequently. Proper maintenance of your bearings will help you achieve the lowest friction and the best longevity.

Before you treat your bearings to new grease, you must remove the existing grease from the bearings. This can be done with CeramicSpeed UFO Clean Bearings.

The UFO Bearing Grease is available in three different versions:

• Race Day: This was developed to generate as little friction as possible. Thanks to Dynamic Viscosity Transformation (DVT) technology, it transforms into a film of lubricating oil when applied as a foamy grease under pressure.
• All Round: Is a lubricant with low to medium viscosity and ensures an optimum balance between friction effect and service life.
• Long Life: It is a medium viscosity grease designed for best performance under the most difficult conditions.
